In September 2011, 20 days offshore project was successfully performed by AZECOLAB offshore team.

In September 2011, one of AZECOLAB's clients, Total has announced a gas discovery in the Caspian Sea in the Absheron block offshore Azerbaijan. The Absheron X-2 well has encountered more than 500 feet of cumulated net gas pays within high quality sands on the northern flank of a major 270 square kilometres.
In May 2011, trained personnel of Marine Biology and Eco-Toxicity lab began testing according to new methods.

In April 2011, personnel of Marine Biology and Eco-Toxicity lab of AZECOLAB participated in external training conducted in Turkey, Central Fisheries Research Institute (Türkiyənin Su Ürünleri Merkez Araşdırma Enstitüsü) (For details download the presentation).
In 2010 AZECOLAB began conversation with TURKAK (Turkish Accreditation Agency) about ISO 17025 Accreditation. Pre-assessment audit was performed in March 2011, and initial audit was conducted in June-July 2011. After audit AZECOLAB worked on audit findings and the reports of corrective actions were sent to TURKAK. In the middle of October certificate of compliance of ISO 17025 will be issued. In September 2010 AZECOLAB signed a three year contract with BP to provide environmental testing services. To provide marine-laboratory and eco-toxicity testing services a new laboratory was founded within the company.
In January 2010, initial audit was performed by DNV in AZECOLAB and a certificate of compliance of ISO 14001:2004 was issued.
